2Arc Gaming competed in all three of the NA Open qualifying tournaments, losing to Tempo Storm in the round of 16 in June. In July, they qualified for the double elimination top eight, but fell to Cloud9 and COGnitive Gaming and finished 7th/8th. Having missed out on the top eight again in the final August NA Open, their BlizzCon hopes have been extinguished. The organization isn’t ruling out a return to the game, but the BlizzCon failure, combined with real life priorities, it had little choice but to release the roster.

The team finished third in the second season of the ESL Heroes Major League, but forfeited the current reason after going 0-1-2 in their first three fixtures.

The team’s best performance came in the WCA NA Pro Qualifier, where they reached the top four—but failed to win the tournament, missing out on qualification.

With BlizzCon qualification ended for all but eight teams in the Americas region, and that point fast approaching in Europe, 2Arc may not be the last team to release their current rosters.
