Where to find War Machine in Fortnite Chapter 5, season 4

There are many different NPCs you can find and interact with around the map in Fortnite. Some quests ask you to specifically track down certain characters, so knowing where each one is located is crucial. One character you may need to find is War Machine.

It can be quite tough to find NPCs around the vast island, especially if they hang around smaller locations rather than major POIs you’re much more likely to visit. Various quests ask you to find each character, though, so you may need to know where to find War Machine in Fortnite.

War Machine location in Fortnite

War Machine can be found at the Latverian Station, just south of Doom’s Courtyard in Fortnite. He hangs around this Landmark rather than a main POI, so there’s a decent chance you’ve never run into him if you haven’t happened upon this small area.

This station is very far north and slightly east. It’s a small location among the many rolling hills and forests around this area, which can make it tricky to find. At this spot, War Machine can be hanging around anywhere in the area.

I generally find War Machine fairly close to the bridge at Latverian Station. He tends to either be right under it or walking on top of it. But like all NPCs, he can roam about quite a bit. If you’re having trouble finding him, look for the dialogue box icon on your mini-map in the top right corner to track him down.

Although there are many powerful War Machine weapons you can find around the map, like War Machine’s Arsenal, the NPC version of him doesn’t have any of them for sale. Instead, he sells a Combat Assault Rifle for 300 gold bars and two Shield Bubble Jr. for 120 gold bars.

If you’re seeking a character who does have some great items available for purchase, I recommend finding Captain Jones instead. He has Captain America’s Shield available for you to buy and a decently powerful Monarch Pistol, too.

There’s still plenty to do around the island after you finish chatting with War Machine. Some tasks worth working on next are finding the secret Iron Man room, hiring characters or recruiting defeated henchmen, and completing Gwenpool’s mission.
