Fortnite Festival is almost ready for a new season, and leakers have spoiled the secret of who’s up next: Karol G.
The season four featured artist for the musical mode will be none other than Latin pop star Karol G. The five-time Latin Grammy Award winner and four-time Billboard Music Award winner is famous for her reggaeton and urban pop music, along with her sultry dance moves.
Karol G released her fourth studio album, Mañana Será Bonito, on Feb. 24, 2023, but her biggest performance may still be yet to come if and when she graces Fortnite as a featured artist, including her own skin, music, songs, and other cosmetic items.
Here’s everything we know so far about Karol G coming to Fortnite.
Is Karol G coming to Fortnite?
Epic Games has confirmed that Karol G will be the next featured artist for Fortnite Festival in season five.
Karol G was initially shown as part of the Fortnite roadmap that leaked all the way back in April 2024, showing Billie Eilish, Metallica, Karol G, and Snoop Dogg as the artists for the year. But now, it’s official and she is ready to arrive.
Eilish and Metallica have followed as Festival artists after leaks first dropped, so it appears that all of the leaks have been accurate thus far. Now that Karol G is confirmed, too, make sure to give a warm welcome to the international megastar.
Karol G Fortnite Festival release date
Karol G is arriving in Fortnite Festival’s season five on Aug. 16, the same day Fortnite’s Chapter Five, season four begins.
The newest season of both Fortnite and Fortnite Festival should go live in the morning of Aug. 16 once the server downtime is finished. The servers usually go live again after an update around 8am CT.
