Fortnite’s Android beta is available right now for Samsung Galaxy owners, and it will be available for all Android users on Aug. 12.
Samsung Galaxy S7 and above have exclusive access until this Sunday. Beta access will become available to other Android users “over the next few days,” and players can sign up for it on Fortnite’s website.
The news was revealed at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Epic Games founder Tim Sweeney also confirmed that Galaxy Note 9 and Tab S4 users will receive an exclusive skin called Galaxy. It will be found for free in the in-game store.
Samsung is also offering an exclusive pre-order bundle for the Galaxy Note 9, which releases on Aug. 24. Anyone who pre-orders the phone by tomorrow, Aug. 10, will receive 15,000 V-Bucks, or AKG headphones—or both for $99 more.
Fortnite has been a massive success on mobile so far, earning $100 million in its first 90 days on iOS. The revenue stream should only get stronger now that it’s becoming available on Android this week.
More info about Fortnite on Android can be found on Epic’s website.
