Five Laps of Freddy’s, a fun FNAF-themed kart racer, is set to launch in 2025, but before that, a demo is releasing on Aug. 7 for fans to try out the game ahead of its release.
The project was revealed as part of FNAF’s 10-year anniversary announcements, which began on Aug. 1 and is the last but one announcement prepared. Into the Pit, a 2D horror game in the FNAF universe, will be released tomorrow to end the celebrations.
With Five Laps at Freddy’s a while away and the demo set to launch, what time does the demo come out?
What time does the Five Laps at Freddy’s demo go live?
The Five Laps at Freddy’s demo will go live on Steam on Aug. 7 at 1pm CT/3pm EST. The demo is only available on Steam, with no console release announced.
We don’t know much about the demo or its content. It could be a single track and a few racers, or it could be something bigger. The game is also single-player, so there’s no playing with friends—at least for now.
Despite being a kart racer, the game has teased a handful of its unique mechanics. It would be best to control your kart’s battery power when driving, or you’ll enter the night shift, where the fun, cute kart racer becomes more horrific than imagined.
Outside of that, it looks like your typical fun-driving party game. But as this is FNAF, we expect a curveball or two along the way.
