Five Laps at Freddy’s is a FNAF Kart Racer game with a demo for players to try before its 2025 release. When choosing a character, you might notice a weird bar on the top right of the screen called Class.
Class seems to point at each character having… something. It’s hard to tell what Class means at first glance, and even we were puzzled.
So, does it have any purpose?
What does Class mean in Five Laps at Freddy’s character select screen?
Class in Five Laps at Freddy’s seems to refer to a character’s weight, but it’s not entirely clear what it does or means overall.
A green bar could mean a character is lighter and faster to use; a yellow bar likely means the character is a middle ground to play as, and red should be the heaviest character currently available. But playing each character, you wouldn’t really notice anything different about it in the demo.
It makes me think that whatever Class is supposed to be isn’t live yet, or could refer to secrets or Easter eggs of some kind. As it is a demo, a lot of the game is unpolished and unfinished, so Class could also be a placeholder for something coming in the future, such as different character abilities or even sizes and how they affect each racer.
For now, all we can do is wait as the community dissects everything they can about the demo ahead of the game’s official release sometime in 2025.
