How to find a way to cause a distraction in FNAF Into the Pit

When attempting to locate your real dad in Five Night at Freddy’s: Into The Pit, you believe you can lure a creature out using a slice of pizza. Unfortunately, Jeff won’t give it to you, but if you find a way to cause a distraction, you can steal a slice.

You’ll encounter this puzzle during the second night when you’re initially trying to track down your dad. You’ll be bouncing back and forth between the current Jeff’s Pizza and the pizzeria from the past. You have to find resources from both periods and bring them together, solving the puzzle so you can continue exploring this area of FNAF: Into The Pit.

How to steal a slice of pizza from Jeff in Into The Pit

After Jeff refuses to give you a slice of pizza, make your way outside Jeff’s Pizza and head over to the Mill. This is another part of town at the center of the map. When you arrive, head to the center of the screen, where you should find a rat trap on the ground. This is vital to causing distractions, which are something you won’t be able to find elsewhere in Into The Pit. It’s similar to escaping your house, where you must maneuver through the area to find specific items.

Once you have the rat trap, return to Jeff’s Pizza. The real prize for your distraction will be in the ball pit, in the past. Make your way to the Ball Pit and transport yourself to Fredy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, where you must go to Party Hallway. A rat should be running around the center of this location, close to the Dining Area entrance. Look for a spot on the ground where you can set the trap, and then move to the Storage room where you’ll hear a snap as you catch the rat. After you catch the rat, it’s time to return to the Ball Pit and Jeff’s Pizza.

When you’re at Jeff’s Pizza, proceed to the left side of the Dining Area, where you’ll find a woman talking on the phone. You can stand beside her and release the rat, causing Jeff to burst into the room to see what’s happening. While he’s distracted, you can grab the slice of pizza from the kitchen and have a worthy piece of food to bring you one step closer to rescuing your dad in FNAF: Into The Pit.
