Earning new players in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team often comes down to the luck of the draw, opening packs, and praying for a game-changer for your team. This can prove costly, particularly if you’re opening some of the best packs on offer, but you don’t have to splash all of your Coins in one go.

If you want to build a bundle of free packs in Ultimate Team, we’ve got the guide for you.

How to get free packs in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team

Use Moments stars

Moments is back in EA FC 25, following a successful debut in last year’s entry, and offers a bunch of packs to claim with the Moments Stars you earn. Early in the game, this is the best way to earn free packs because the tasks to earn stars are very easy to complete.

The prices of packs vary, but if you save all your Moments Stars, you can claim a Rare Players Pack for 50 stars—and there’s a maximum of three per account. To claim them all, you need a total of 180 Moments Stars, but these are some of the best packs available in EA FC 25.

Other options are also available, including an introductory pack for a single Moments Star, Draft Tokens, and plenty more.

Welcome Back packs

After being absent from last year’s edition, Welcome Back packs have returned in EA FC 25 and provide a bunch of rewards to get you started in Ultimate Team if you are a returning player. Although these aren’t the best packs, they can still provide some big hits.

When logging into Ultimate Team for the first time, the Welcome Back packs should be immediately available in the Store—and they can also be opened in the Web App, so you can save valuable time if you’re using the 10-hour EA Play trial.

Complete Objectives

Objectives in EA FC 25 are one of the best ways to earn free packs early, particularly given some tasks are incredibly simple. When you begin EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, you should find yourself completing Objectives without too much effort.

Some simple tasks provide a variety of packs, and though these aren’t stacked with the best items, they’re a good way to boost your club. The best rewards come in the Milestones, which take much longer, requiring you to score hundreds of goals or win hundreds of matches, but it’s worth the grind.

Complete SBCs

Squad Building Challenges have become a staple of the franchise and Ultimate Team over the years, providing an easy way to snatch a variety of packs from submitting players you are not using—and they are very useful early on in EA FC 25.

After completing the basic introductory SBC challenges, the door opens up for plenty more—including the standard League, Nations, and Hybrid League and Nations challenges. While some of those can be costly to complete, the rewards they provide are huge.

Gold Upgrade SBCs are another great way to get packs by exchanging players you don’t want, and unlike other challenges, they are repeatable—so you can do them as many times as you want in the hunt for a superstar for your team.
