Dota 2 BLAST Slam III: Schedule, brackets, and more

BLAST Slam III was the final Dota 2 BLAST tournament before The International this year, providing the participating 10 teams with an opportunity to secure an invitation to the grand event based on their performance. The tournament will be played on the 7.38c patch and, like its previous editions, features a prize pool of $1 million.

Although this tournament did not feature any EPT points that would help teams qualify for the Esports World Cup, the performance of every team played a crucial role in their journey to TI14. It has also been over a month since the release of the last sub-patch, meaning a new sub-patch could be released soon after the tournament has concluded.

A total of 10 teams will participate in the Dota 2 BLAST Slam III, and all of them have received direct invitations. Here’s the list of the teams participating, along with their rosters:

Dota 2 BLAST Slam III schedule and format

BLAST Slam III kicks off on May 6, 2025, with the group stage, featuring two groups comprising five teams each. All five teams from both groups will make their way into the playoffs, however, they will be seeded based on their performance during the group stage.

The playoffs will be played from May 7, 2025, featuring four elimination rounds before the grand finals on May 11, 2025. Here’s the full schedule for the matches:
