The Yellow Witherbloom in Creatures of Ava is a type of infection that blocks your pathways to explore new areas in Ava, but there is a way to get rid of it.
The Withering in Creatures of Ava has engulfed various parts of the planet with its pollution, which drives animals hostile and gives rise to the Yellow Witherbloom flower preventing you from visiting new areas and securing rare loot. While you can use your Nafitar to cleanse the grey Witherbloom flowers, the yellow ones are tricker to open. You can’t directly use your Nafitar’s beam because Yellow Witherbloom is immune to it.
Here’s how you clear these pesky Yellow Witherbloom and explore the planet of Ava without any worries.
How to remove the Yellow Witherbloom obstacle in Creatures of Ava
To get rid of Yellow Witherbloom in Creatures of Ava, you need to unlock and use the Krist ability with your Nafitar. The Krist ability allows you to temporarily remove the immunity of the Yellow Witherbloom to resist your Nafitar’s beam, helping you neutralize them quickly. To use the Krist ability, simply use your beam on Yellow Witherbloom and press E to release the Krist to weaken the infection, and you’ll absorb it easily.Â
If the flower closes before you finish the healing process, you can invest your points in the Overcharge skill in the Skill tree to complete the process faster than usual.Â
After completing a few main quests, you should get the Through Stone, We Teach quest where you’ll need to meet the resident archeologist, Nim’ar, at the Ohol-cate tower in Arsira village. He’ll ask you to find your way south of the Grasslands biome and reach the Weeping Rock point of interest. Make your way up by cutting down the withering in your path, and you should spot a Sagestone waiting for you.
You can put your Nafitar inside it and you’ll then need to solve a puzzle and rearrange the pieces in a diamond shape to reveal a story about Antaris. Once you’re done, it should unlock the Krist ability for your Nafitar to take down any Yellow Witherbloom in your way. You can also use the Krist ability to heal infected creatures who are immune to your beam.
