For those eager to get settled into the world of Ava, Creatures of Ava‘s main story spans over a 10 to 11-hour long adventure. The narrative is beautifully woven into the scenery, characters, and creatures you’ll meet as you’re lead from one region to another. The combat is simple in its execution, with cute animals to tame in between fighting, and puzzles to keep those brain juices flowing.

For the completionists out there, Creatures of Ava will set you back approximately 18 to 20 hours to finish 100 percent. This accounts for all 27 achievements this game has to offer, centered around collectibles and completing all side quests. With each of the game’s four regions holding their own characters, creatures, and quests to discover, you will naturally find yourself drawn to explore every inch of planet Ava before the end credits roll.

Whether you want to play through Creatures of Ava like a Pokémon trainer, or if you have a more Zelda-like approach in mind that wants to witness everything Ava has to offer, there is a lot of freedom to choose what you want to do outside of the main story.
