FaZe Clan is apparently making changes to its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster again.

Former Virtus Pro star Filip “NEO” Kubski is reportedly going to be taking Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev’s place on the active FaZe roster, according to Cybersport.pl. This change would end AdreN’s stand-in period on FaZe, which lasted about five months in total.

The source of the report seems to be information gathered by Twitter user Don Haci, based on a rough translation. So it’s unclear whether the roster move was confirmed by another source close to the team in addition to Don Haci’s finding.

The information, however, can be backed up by the fact that NEO was recently found in FaZe’s practice server. An image circulating on Reddit and Twitter shows that FaZe was in the server with NEO and without AdreN.

All of the player names in the image, with the exception of NEO and coach Janko “YNk” Paunovic, don’t show their actual aliases. A quick check of Nikola “NiKo” Kovac, Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovacs, Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer, and Havard “rain” Nygaard’s steam profiles show that they’re all in the server without AdreN.

If NEO joins FaZe, he’ll likely be the in-game leader, a role which he filled during his tenure with Virtus Pro. He’d be the first dedicated in-game leader on FaZe since Finn “karrigan” Anderson’s departure and NiKo’s temporary assumption of the role.
