Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu, who has previously coached for rosters such as Team Liquid and TyLoo, has received an extension from Heroic—meaning he will continue representing the Danish organization for the next 12 months.

The only event peacemaker has attended with the team was the 2017 iteration of DreamHack Winter, which ultimately saw the roster finish in sixth place. In terms of online competition, the team has shown more success—winning the European division of the World Cyber Arena qualifiers against reigning Valve Major champions Gambit Gaming.

While initially being brought on as an interim coach, the past month seems to have filled both the organization and peacemaker, with enough optimism to continue the partnership.

“Over the past months I have worked with the players as individuals and as a group and I have only been confirmed in my first impression of the team and the guys,” peacemaker said in Heroic’s press release, adding that the squad’s “willingness to work hard to reach our ambitions” has made him confident in turning the team’s results around in the coming year.

Despite being contracted with Heroic for the forthcoming year, however, the coach will be attending the upcoming ELEAGUE Major together with the Chinese TyLoo roster, but not as a coach. Due to being listed as part of the team’s roster during its run through the ELEAGUE Major’s Asia qualifier, the team is forced to play with peacemaker if they wish to attend the event at all—due to the Chinese roster’s superstar Hansel “BnTet” Ferdinand being unable to acquire a U.S. visa ahead of the tournament.

Heroic has accepted the situation, and is allowing peacemaker to compete for the Chinese roster at the ELEAGUE Major.
