The two final weapons in Modern Warfare 3 have joined the battle as part of season six, adding another LMG option for the arsenal of Warzone players everywhere.

LMGs have always been a strong choice in Warzone, and why wouldn’t they be? They offer superior firepower and large magazines to deal damage at range, which is what battle royale is all about. But the Kastov LSW is a unique LMG in that it finds its true potential when building it for a different style of play altogether.

The Kastov LSW is unimpressive until you realize it needs a specific playstyle in mind to flourish. Introduced in MW3, Tac Stance is a unique way to play CoD as you can move faster and hipfire while angling your weapon, and the Kastov LSW is one of the best implementations of the ability yet.

Best Kastov LSW build in Warzone

• Barrel: Bombast T54 Short Barrel
• Laser: STOVL DR Laser Box
• Stock: No Stock
• Underbarrel: Bruen Bastion Angled Grip
• Rear Grip: State50 Grip

This loadout adds tremendous buffs to the Kastov LSW’s Accuracy, Mobility, and Handling, turning it into a back pocket cannon that you can swap to when it’s time to just empty 100 rounds into enemies up close.

All of this build’s attachments center around stats for Hipfire and Tac Stance Spread and Hip Fire Control, so it should always be fired in Tac Stance. With these attachments equipped, the crosshairs for the Kastov LSW when firing in Tac Stance are shockingly small, adding very little room for error.

As an LMG, it has incredible firepower and a fast fire rate, meaning it’s a beast up close when built out for that kind of engagement. Don’t worry about using this gun for long-range fights, because that’s what your other weapon is for. Kit your Kastov LSW out for CQC instead to change things up.
