Similar to last week’s BO7 Proving Grounds in Multiplayer, the Astra Malorum event revolves around leaderboard progression. You’ll be grouped into a small pool of players and fight for the highest placement to earn better rewards. Still, even if you’re not topping charts, a set of event challenges provides guaranteed unlocks, so everyone walks away with something.

Here’s everything you need to know about the BO7 Zombies Astra Malorum Leaderboard Event, including when it ends, how it works, and all the rewards up for grabs.

The Astra Malorum event went live with the launch of Season 1 on Dec. 4. The event runs for a full five days and wraps up on Dec. 9 at 11am CT / 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm GMT.

All leaderboard-based rewards are given once the event officially ends.

Astra Malorum functions much like Proving Grounds. Once you drop into a match, you’re placed into a 30-player leaderboard pool. Throughout the event, you need  to rack up points by completing various tasks:

  • Zombie elimination: 1 point
  • T.E.D.D. Task completion: 50 points
  • Disabling OSCAR (Elite zombie): 100 points
  • Astra Malorum Main Quest completion: 5,000 points

Your total score at the end determines your final placement and the rewards you’ll earn. Even if you don’t crack the top spots, every participant earns something, with bigger prizes waiting for those who climb higher.
