Modern Warfare 3 has led to a fun year in Warzone, adding a slew of exciting weapons in seasonal drops, along with the return of some great maps. But the fun’s almost over.

The two new weapons added in MW3’s final season are fun to use in Warzone, giving players ample opportunity to test them out before season one of Black Ops 6 begins. The first weapon is the DTIR 30-06 battle rifle, a quick contender for a strong-performing weapon in Urzikstan or even Resurgence.

The DTIR 30-06 is reminiscent of the BAS-B as another powerful, slow-firing battle rifle that can hold its own at range but flourishes at medium range. With the right attachments, it can be a fun addition to any Warzone loadout moving forward.

• Barrel: Sanctum-60 Long Barrel
• Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
• Underbarrel: Kimura RYN-03 Vertical Grip
• Magazine: 40 Round Mag
• Rear Grip: RecForge Grip

This build accentuates the DTIR’s performance at mid-range while helping it deal with opponents at long range, so it’s best paired with a short-range option like an SMG in your second weapon slot.

For the build itself, though, the Sanctum-60 Long Barrel is the key attachment, buffing Bullet Velocity & Range, Damage Range, and Recoil Control all at the same time. The DTIR doesn’t have a lot of recoil to begin with, which is interesting for a battle rifle, but this helps keep your shots straight even further.

I like the RecForge Grip because it helps mitigate the weapon’s vertical recoil, but if you find that the DTIR shoots straight enough, you can swap it out for the Hotel-45 Grip to help with mobility, or add something like a Quartermaster Suppressor in the Muzzle slot.
