How to get Art the Clown in Call of Duty

This is not your dad's circus clown.

Michael Myers. Ghostface. Freddy Krueger. Jason Voorhees. Leatherface, Chucky, Candyman, Pinhead, and so on. The list of iconic slasher movie killers grows. And now, we have Art the Clown.

Art the Clown? Yes, Art the Clown from Terrifier. If you haven’t seen the horror franchise, that’s all right. It’s a bit niche and pretty recent, too. But when you talk to slasher fans, they’ll say he deserves to be up there, too.

Call of Duty and the powers that be at Activision agree. Art the Clown is getting his third movie soon, and Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are set to celebrate it by bringing the creepy circus performer into the fray before you know it. Just know that Terrifier is a very, very adult movie with lots of blood, gore, and creepy moments. Keep that in mind if the young ones are interested in good old Art.

Here’s what we know so far about Art the Clown from Terrifier coming to Call of Duty in The Haunting.

How to get Art the Clown operator skin in MW3 and Warzone

Art the Clown will be added to MW3 and Warzone as part of the Tracer Pack: Terrifier operator bundle in season six, The Haunting, so the only way to get the character skin is to purchase the bundle when it’s added to CoD’s in-game store.

Like other collaboration bundles, Tracer Pack: Terrifier will cost 2,400 CoD Points. That works out to around $20, but if you’ve been saving up the CoD Points you get from each of MW3’s battle passes, you may have some already to put toward the purchase.

There’s currently no release date for the operator bundle, but since it will be released during season six, it will drop sometime between Sept. 18 and Oct. 17 and be available just in time for Halloween.

A date to keep an eye on would be Oct. 11, which is the release date for Terrifier 3, the third installment in the slasher franchise. That day falls on a Friday, so it’s possible that Art the Clown could make his debut in CoD to coincide with the release of his third movie.

What’s included in the MW3 Tracer Pack: Terrifier operator bundle?

Art the Clown’s operator skin is just one piece of the full bundle. Here’s everything included in the bundle:

  • “Art the Clown” operator skin
  • “Terrifier” weapon blueprint
  • “Miles County Killer” weapon blueprint
  • One weapon charm
  • One weapon sticker
  • One large decal
  • One emblem
  • One loading screen

The weapon blueprints are currently unknown, but as it is a Tracer Pack, the weapons will include Tracer rounds that fire bullets inspired by Terrifier and Art the Clown, and a special death animation for the operators you eliminate as well.

Art the Clown will be in good company in CoD. In MW3’s season six alone, he joins Michael Myers from Halloween, Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead, and Sam from Trick ‘r Treat as crossover collabs for the spooky-themed seasonal festivities.

And that’s not even including previous CoD collabs that featured other icons like Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Jigsaw from Saw, and Ghostface from Scream. CoD has always shown a good dedication to the horror community, which is why The Haunting is always so popular each year.

The Haunting comes to an end just before Halloween, but the skins available for purchase during season six will not carry forward to Black Ops 6. They’ll still be accessible in Warzone, but the operators cannot be used in BO6 multiplayer or Zombies, so keep that in mind when you go to make your purchase.
