Should you buy the Black Ops 7 Battle Pass?

The base Black Ops 7 Battle Pass costs 1,100 CP or $10 and includes everything you can expect from a normal Battle Pass, including cosmetics and weapon blueprints. Most importantly, it includes 1,100 CP for you to get the next Battle Pass for free as long as you manage to unlock all the rewards.
Here’s everything included in a Black Ops 7 Battle Pass:
- 10 percent Battle Pass XP boost
- 11 Operator skins
- 23 weapon blueprints
- Zombies Gobblegums
- Emotes, finishing moves, and more
Some of the rewards are free, but if you plan on grinding this and the following seasons, the Battle Pass is a solid one-time purchase. Make sure to also check out the rewards if there’s anything you like and would want to use in-game.
Alternatively, you can play the game and see how fast you’re progressing through the Battle Pass, to then decide whether or not to buy it. You will miss out on a 10 percent bonus Battle Pass XP, but it shouldn’t be a problem if you use 2XP Boosters and play during double XP weekends.
Should you buy Black Ops 7 BlackCell?

BlackCell costs $29.99 and includes the base Black Ops 7 Battle Pass on top of additional rewards. It’s a good value for the money if you plan on grinding out this season, like the look of the BlackCell exclusive cosmetics, and plan to pick up something from the store.
Here’s everything included in Black Ops 7 BlackCell:
- 20 Battle Pass tier skips
- 1,100 CP
- New Operator
- Mastercraft blueprint
- Alternative looks for all HVT cosmetic rewards
- Finishing move, guns screen, and other minor cosmetics
- Access to a Battle Pass page of your choice
- Access to an additional daily challenge
As a result, you’re getting the base Battle Pass and 1,100 CP for their base price and additional cosmetics for the remaining $10. You can spend those CP in the store or save them for the next Battle Pass, even though the base version includes another 1,100 CP.
Keep in mind that for your first BlackCell purchase, it might be better to get the Vault Edition upgrade, as it includes all of the above, plus additional rewards for the same price.
