Ashes of the Damned: How to turn on power in Black Ops 7 Zombies

One of the first things you need to do when playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies on the Ashes of the Damned map is to turn on the power in a couple of locations.

Turning on the power is not only a part of the main quest on Ashes of the Damned, but it also allows you to use jump pads for faster travel between POIs. There are three locations that require you to turn on the power: Vandorn Farm, Blackwater Lake, and Ashwood.

Here’s how to turn on the power at each of the locations on the Ashes of the Damned map in BO7 Zombies.

How to turn on power in Vandorn Farm in Black Ops 7 Zombies

One of the first locations you can visit is Vandorn Farm. Drive there using Ol’ Tessie from Janus Tower Plaza, and smash through the wooden gates to enter the area. Enter the farm, and on the right, there’s a Power Pump.

To turn on the power, you must clear the infestation from the Power Pump within 30 seconds. Shoot all the small orange nodes around the Power Pump and then target the large node at the top of the Power Pump. The timer starts when you shoot the first node. If you don’t do it fast enough, the Power Pump will go on cooldown to regenerate the infestation for you to try again.

After clearing the infestation, head inside the barn (open the door for 1,750 Essence), and find a switch on the second floor. Flip the switch to turn on the power.

How to turn on power in Blackwater Lake in Black Ops 7 Zombies

At Blackwater Lake, the Power Pump is to the left of the main house. Follow the same steps to clear the infestation. Then, unlock the door to the house for 1,750 Essence and head up the stairs to find the switch near the large window. Flip the switch to turn on the power in Blackwater Lake.

How to turn on power in Ashwood in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Once you arrive at Ashwood from either Vandorn Farm or Blackwater Lake, you need to use the ziplines on the sides to go up. Regardless of which zipline you take, you need to spend a total of 2,750 Essence to open all the doors leading to the Power Pump in the middle of the bridge.

Just as before, clear the infestation within 30 seconds and flip the switch at the stand near the Power Pump. Now, all the jump pads are active, and you can also access the Pack-A-Punch machine down at the garage.
