Act Three is jam-packed with quests for you to complete.

This BG3 quest list will encompass both main and side quests that either start in Act Three or are progressed or completed in one of the maps you visit. You might see some quests you received in Acts One or Two, but they are on this list because they finish at some point in Act 3.

In Act Three, many of the quests you started in previous acts culminate. The events at Moonrise Towers lead to several different branching questlines; characters you met previously have made their way to the city and still need your help, and there are new characters who want to meet the companions you’ve picked up along your travels.

Other than the main quests, there are quite a few side quests you should consider before you finish your BG3 playthrough, as many of these are linked to your companions. These quests will grant you and your party some excellent rewards while being particularly interesting or important.

Astarion and Shadowheart, for example, have quests in Act Three that effectively end their respective storylines.

  • Solve the Open Hand Temple Murders
  • Find a way into Wyrm’s Rock Fortress
  • Find and enter Cazador’s Palace (the conclusion to Astarion’s questline)
  • The Emperor’s Hideout
  • Find the House of Grief (the conclusion to Shadowheart’s questline)
  • Retrieve Omeluum
  • Recruit Minsc in the Abandoned Cistern
  • Aid the Underduke

Although BG3 allows you to play however you like, some quests are more important than others, like the main and companion quests, which are crucial in progressing your campaign and relationships.

But these are all the BG3 quests in Act Three in order, your side quests, personal quests, and other vital quests in BG3.
