Early access is the first full version of the game, featuring advanced tutorials, progression, and its first season. Everything you unlock in early access carries over to the full launch, including champions, cosmetics, and more.

Season zero (and the following seasons) comes with the ranked reset, balance changes, new champions, stages, and a battle pass. In early access, you can also buy Starter Editions that include cosmetics, KO Points, and Champion Tokens.

There’s no set date for when early access will end, but Riot highlighted the following areas it wants to iron out in 2XKO before heading for full launch:

  • Seasons
  • Ranked
  • Content (in-game store and progression)
  • Competitive and community tournaments
  • Consoles

Early access offers first drafts of the game’s systems, and Riot will improve them based on player feedback. At the same time, the console version of 2XKO is still in development, and the team is working on getting it from the beta to a full game.

Once that’s done, 2XKO will be ready for the official launch.
