How to successfully earn VALORANT Twitch drops

If you don’t receive the “drops earned” notification, it’s likely that you have missed out on a crucial step or requirement.

For starters, make sure your Riot account is connected to the Twitch account you’re using to watch the matches. To connect your VALORANT to Twitch correctly, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Twitch account. Select your profile icon and then go to Settings.
  2. Open the Connections tab and scroll down to find Riot Games.
  3. Hit Connect and then use your Riot account credentials to authorize the process.
  4. Once done, your accounts will be successfully connected.

After you connect the accounts, make sure you’re watching the games on the right dates to earn the designated drop. For example, you won’t be able to earn the KAY/O Punch spray before Nov. 30, that is, on the day of the grand finals.

You must watch the official VALORANT Twitch channel or a drops-enabled streamer (like Sliggy) for the Game Changers to successfully earn a drop.

Also, you must complete the watchtime requirement to be eligible. Sometimes, however, you may have to watch more than 30 minutes for Twitch to track your drops progress accurately and award you the drop. This may happen when too many viewers with connected accounts are trying to earn drops at the same time.

Lastly, after you receive the notification that you’ve successfully earned the drop, you should also claim the reward for it to appear in-game. Just hit the profile icon on Twitch, click on the Drops & Rewards tab, and then hit the Claim button on the reward. After this, you can log into your VALORANT account and check your inventory to track the drop.
