Best agents to play with Vyse in VALORANT

Sometimes, the best needs some help.

Although Vyse might seem like the perfect Sentinel to solo hold a site in VALORANT, the newest agent to grace the game’s roster can work extremely well with other agents in the right team composition.

There are plenty of different combinations you can try out on the battlefield, but there are a select group of agents that will synergize perfectly with Vyse’s various abilities. Whether you’re playing off of her various traps or taking advantage of her round-changing ultimate, the rest of the roster will have a field day with the newest addition to the game.

Here are the best agents to play with Vyse in VALORANT.

Harbor

Harbor and Vyse have some of the biggest ultimates in the game in terms of area-of-effect, and when combined, they can completely nullify defenses and scatter them to the tide. By combining these abilities, players are forced to completely vacate an area to not only avoid getting their primary weapons jammed, but to also avoid the periodic stuns that pop off among the waves.

Additionally, Vyse and Harbor can combine their abilities to create wild defensive stands, such as using his High Tide or Cascade wall to mask her Shear wall. If placed correctly, an attacking team could rush through the water wall, only for an unbreakable wall to pop up behind them and trap them for easy pickings.

KAY/O

In a similar vein, KAY/O’s ultimate ability can be a stifling addition to Vyse’s ultimate. Imagine losing your primary weapon with Vyse’s Steel Garden, and then KAY/O pops his own ultimate to disable your abilities as well. You’d be forced to run with your tail tucked between your legs, or else you’ll be fighting with nothing but your pistol against an onslaught.

Although their ultimates are a borderline broken combo, KAY/O can also combine his FRAG/MENT grenade with Vyse’s Razorvine trap to decimate any enemies that step into Vyse’s clutches. This combination could destroy multiple players at once, especially with Vyse holding two charges of her Razorvine trap.

Raze

Although Raze doesn’t have much synergy with Vyse’s ultimate, she does have some great synergy with her other basic abilities. Like KAY/O, Raze can chuck a grenade or pop her ultimate ability whenever an opposing player gets caught stumbling through its thorns, or she can use her grenade to eliminate any enemies that are separated from their teammates with Vyse’s Shear wall.

Ultimately, Vyse’s abilities can turn enemies into sitting ducks that simply require her teammates to swing and clear them from the map. Since her abilities need her and her allies to swing in order to take advantage of her skills, duelists will love how many free kills they can get alongside this new agent.

Breach

There are a few key interactions that can work with Vyse and Breach, mainly with their ultimate abilities. Since Breach’s ultimate ability, Rolling Thunder, moves so quickly across the map, it can hit multiple players and stun them in place as Vyse pops her own ultimate. Steel Garden has a small charge up, but with Rolling Thunder’s stun, it is almost guaranteed to catch any foes that were hit by Breach.

Breach can also pull off cheeky double flash plays with Vyse on defense and post-plant by timing his flash through the wall with Vyse’s Arc Rose. If you sync up the flashes, you can easily blind any enemy players that manage to dodge Vyse’s flash by turning their head.
