Time to get competitive in Rematch

Rematch recently concluded their final beta test before the game’s release on June 19, 2025. Sloclap has also confirmed that there will be a three-day early access period for those who pre-order the premium editions of the game. Featuring a setting similar to Rocket League but with human characters, Rematch features a highly competitive environment.

Along with this competitive environment comes a ranked game mode where we will be vying to prove our skills and dominate on the field. Like most competitive games, Rematch also features a rank system involving several tiers, and here’s everything you need to know about it before the game goes live.

While there is an unranked mode for those who simply wish to have fun in a relaxed environment, the competitive nature of the game will have most players flocking to the ranked mode in Rematch. Like all competitive games, the best way to climb through the ranked tiers is by winning in the ranked mode.

All Rematch ranks

Sloclap has confirmed that there will be six different tiers for you to climb through at the release of the title. These tiers, in ascending order, are:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Elite

Each of these ranks will feature five sub-tiers, and you will have to win consecutive matches in the ranked mode to climb through each of them. While this process may seem a bit slow at first, the satisfaction of achieving a higher overall rank after a session of ranked grinding will be much greater than that of a simpler promotion method.

All the progress made during the beta phases will also be entirely reset once the global release goes through. However, the developers could opt to revamp the ranked system with the full release, as more and more players start vying for a position on the leaderboards. This will lead to the need for advanced ranks becoming necessary.

It won’t come as a surprise if Sloclap already has something planned for this that they’ll reveal at the release of Rematch. That being said, we will update this section as more information becomes available.
