Following a third place win at April’s Overwatch Monthly Melee, the roster has announced they’re no longer part of Denial Esports. They will, however, continue to compete as a team, under the new name, as they trial a sixth player and court a new organization.

“We’re currently without a home and looking for an organization with a potential Overwatch League spot that will not only help us get better, but not hinder us,” Yikes tank player Félix “xQc”Lengyel told Dot Esports. Denial has not commented on the roster’s release.

Denial’s Monthly Melee run featured some big plays, but no title.

Joining xQc on the Yikes lineup is DPS player Derek “zza” Johnson, flex player Danteh Cruz, and supports Donald “Dahun” Leigh and Brice “Gingerpop” Breakey. Jeremy “Jerkkit” Wong operates as the team’s head coach and manager.

Though the roster has seen varied success in weekly and monthly online tournaments, Yikes has yet to prove themselves at a major offline event. As the Overwatch League approaches, however, that could change—if Yikes are able to find an organization.
