Top Lane

#1 Hecarim

#2 Fizz

#3 Maokai

No changes here where the horse king, Hecarim, remains on the top spot for top laners. He boasted a 78.57% win rate in 14 games. Hecarim can snowball very hard and can use this lead to influence all the other lanes thanks to his strong homeguard teleport ganks/flanks. Hecarim had a 58.33% pick rate, 29.17% ban rate, and an 87.50% pick/ban rate.

Fizz keeps the #2 top. Though Fizz can be played in the mid lane and jungle he is primarily picked in the top lane. Like Hecarim Fizz can snowball top lane and get out of control fast. Fizz had a 29.17% pick rate, 54.17% ban rate, and an 83.33% pick/ban rate. He did have a rather low win rate this week sitting at 29.17%.

Maokai will hold down the #3 spot as usual. He is a sturdy tank who does relatively well in every match up. He can snowball to some degree, but not as hard as Fizz and Hecarim. Maokai had a pick rate of 41.67% pick rate, 8.33% ban rate, and a 50% pick/ban rate. He boasted a 60% win rate this week.

Mid Lane

#1 Ekko

#2 Viktor/Leblanc

#3 Azir

Ekko has arrived. He hasn’t even been out long and has already skyrocketed up the priority list. Ekko provides strong damage, has utility, and safety with his dash, ultimate, and parallel convergence (W). His ratio on his ultimate is 130% of his AP. That is extremely strong and one of the highest AP ratios in the game. His ratio for the shield he gains when entering his parallel convergence is 80% of his AP. Even if he doesn’t get the stun on the enemy targets, which is 2.25 seconds by the way, he will still get a massive shield. We also can’t forget how his ultimate will set him back in time and regain health. Ekko’s kit just offers far too much currently. He has to be permanently disabled or else he will get his ultimate off and regain health back. However, like many match ups if the enemy mid laner can chunk him in safety like Leblanc then Ekko isn’t as scary to deal with. Ekko had a 45.83% pick rate, 41.67% ban rate, and an 87.50% pick/ban rate. Ekko had a 45.45% win rate in 11 games. Also, I want to note that Ekko is a flex pick who can be played in jungle. Chinese teams have not played him in the top lane at all, only mid and jungle.

Leblanc and Viktor are in the #2 spot. After watching LCK week 3 I presumed Viktor would be played more in LPL and this week Viktor had his fun. Viktor has a strong early game and doesn’t fall off late game. He hits big power spikes in late early game and early mid game. The only downfall to Viktor is he has low mobility and become an easy gank. Viktor had a 29.17% pick rate, 29.17% ban rate, and a 58.33% pick/ban rate. He had an impressive 71.43% win rate in 7 games.

Leblanc fell down to the #2 spot this week. Time will tell if teams will want to play Ekko more in the mid lane or jungle still, but for now it will be the mid lane. Leblanc is a hard lane to gank and provides strong burst damage in the early and mid-game. She falls off late game, but is still useful if she can get a flank. Leblanc had a 16.67% pick rate, 41.67% ban rate, and a 58.33% pick/ban rate. She had a strong 75% win rate in 4 games.

Azir has fallen down to #3 in the list. He is still just as strong as he was before. He provides poke, strong sustain damage, great peeling, and even can make plays with emperor’s divide. Azir had a 41.67% pick rate, 16.67% ban rate, and a 58.33% pick/ban rate. I have Azir down in third mainly because his win rate was 50% in 10 games. If Leblanc had more games played I could make a better assessment on who deserved third.

Jungler

#1 Gragas

#2 Rek’sai

#3 Sejuani

Gragas is the fat man you can’t just get rid of. I say this every single top pick, Gragas’s kit offers far too much and until some junglers are buffed to have a niche like Gragas he won’t be replaced for a while unless Rek’sai takes over priority. Gragas had a 62.50% pick rate, 20.83% ban rate, and an 83.33% pick/ban rate. He held a 40% win rate in 15 games.

Rek’sai stays in the 2nd place this week. She has her own niche with global presence and burrow vision to allow her to spot out enemies from a far. Rek’sai had a 45.83% pick rate, 16.67% ban rate, and a 62.50% pick/ban rate. She held a 54.55% win rate in 11 games.

Sejuani kept her third spot, but not by much. Ekko was played in the jungle 4 times where as Sejuani was played 5 times. Sejuani can lock up the enemy team with her strong ultimate and becomes a big tank in the late game. Sejuani had a 20.83% pick rate, 0% ban rate, and a 20.83% pick/ban rate. She had a 40% win rate in 5 games.

Support

#1 Alistar

#2 Thresh

#3 Nautilus

Alistar is no surprise being in the top spot still. As I say each time he offers far too much and can be used in several different situations which make him a big priority. Alistar had a 37.50% pick rate, 62.50% ban rate, and a 100% pick/ban rate. Alistar had a 55.56% win rate this week.

Thresh remains in the #2 spot still. Thresh offers the lantern for the more smite top laners that LPL runs such as Hecarim and Fizz. He is also a very well rounded support that LPL players can depend on. Thresh had a 37.50% pick rate, 25% ban rate, and 62.50% pick/ban rate. He also finished with a 55.56% win rate.

Nautilus continues to stay in #3 due to his heavy crowd control, tankiness, and not being placed above the other two because the other two just offer more. He had a 41.67% pick rate, 8.33% ban rate, and a 50% pick/ban rate. He had a 40% win rate this week.

ADC

#1/2 Kalista and Sivir

#3 Tristana/Vayne

This was unexpected for this week. Both Kalista and Sivir held a 100% pick/ban rate. They have been known as the top two ADC picks for a while now and this week Sivir has finally caught up with Kalista. So for my top list I am giving the #1/2 spot to Kalista and Sivir.

Kaslista remains on top along with Sivir for this week. Kalista’s early game and unique ultimate for several different uses keeps her here in this spot. Kalista had a 16.67% pick rate, 83.33% ban rate, and a 100% pick/ban rate. Kalista had a 75% win rate in 4 games.

Sivir’s ultimate alone makes her a top pick currently. It synergizes so well with different compositions and champions. She also contains strong burst damage that people often forget. Sivir had a 62.50% pick rate, 37.50% ban rate, and a 100% pick/ban rate as I mentioned. Sivir had a 60% win rate in 15 games.

Tristana has landed. With the nerfs to Jinx’s Q this leaves another ADC to become the new tower pusher. This so happens to be Tristana thanks to her Q that can be casted on towers. Tristana also still holds her very strong late game and long escape in her W. We will see if she gets picked more, but don’t think she will replace Sivir or Kalista in the top spots. Tristana had a 25% pick rate, 0% ban rate, and 25% pick/ban rate. She had a 50% win rate in 6 games.

Vayne remains in third, but now sharing this spot with Tristana. Vayne is usually played against Sivir and offers the split push option if the team wants to go that route. Vayne had a 25% pick rate, 0% ban rate, and 25% pick/ban rate. She held a 33.33% win rate in 6 games.
