Blueberry Leather is an essential crafting material in Grounded 2, but the game doesn’t make it easy to find. It doesn’t spawn naturally in the wild, and you’ll need to locate blueberries first before you can craft it.
If you’re looking to stock up on the Blueberry Leather to craft new items, we’ve got you covered.

How to find Blueberry chunks in Grounded 2

To find Blueberry chunks in Grounded 2, make your way to the Ice Cream Truck area located in the southern part of the map. You can use the map above to find the exact spot where these fruits hang from the tree and you can simply pull them down using your bow or your ant mount. Once they are on the ground, you can use your weapon to chop them up into Blueberry chunks. Now, you can collect them and store them in your inventory.
If you’re heading to this area for the first time, be prepared to face an O.R.C. Bee, a powerful enemy that can take you out in a single hit. It’s best to engage it from a distance using a bow, but make sure you’re equipped with strong weapons and armor. Otherwise, you might end up learning the hard way, just like I did after suffering multiple deaths.
I’d recommend building a Lean-To nearby and setting it as your respawn point before engaging the O.R.C. Bee. That way, if things go south, you can quickly recover your backpack and jump back into the fight without losing too much progress. If you don’t have a knack for fighting, consider waiting until the night as the Bee falls asleep and you can sneak away a few Blueberries and take them to the Ranger Outpost.
How to make the Blueberry Leather in Grounded 2

Once you’re back at the Ranger Outpost, go to your Resource Analyser and scan the Blueberry chunk to get the recipe for the Blueberry Leather, Hedge Lord potion, and other decorations like the Blueberry chair. Scanning items also rewards you with Raw Science points, which can be used for unlocking new items and upgrading your gear.
After that, you can head to your Workbench and use three Blueberry chunks to make a single Blueberry Leather, which you can use for many things.
How to use the Blueberry Leather in Grounded 2

You can use Blueberry Leather to make the secondary upgrade to your Omni-Axe, which allows it to cut through basic plant life. You can also use it to brew the Hedge Lord potion and craft the Blueberry chair.
If you take the Blueberry Leather back to the Resource Analyser at your outpost and scan it, you will unlock new recipes, including the Target, Target Dummy, and Standing Target. These buildings are great for testing and practicing with your new weapons.
In addition to that, the game allows you to secretly unlock the recipes for the Northern Spaulders armor for the body and Northern Breeches for the legs, which are solid additions to your arsenal for mid to late game wherein you’ll face more deadly insects.
