Challenger side H2K Gaming forfeited their third place Challenger Series match against Gamers2 earlier today, citing “internal conflicts.” Now, sources close to the side have told the Daily Dot that midlaner Fabian “Febiven” Diepstraten will be leaving the team. The departure allegedly stems from disputes with toplaner Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu, according to one source.
A second source close to the organization confirmed that there would be roster changes within H2K, but did not divulge any more details.
J.T “Tiza” Vandenbree, esports coordinator at Riot Games, says H2K will be fined for the forfeit and that the company may pursue an investigation.
