After months of changes and uncertainty, Team Dignitas has finalized its Heroes of the Storm roster ahead of the European Championship in just a few weeks.

Captain James “Bakery” Baker and longtime teammate Joshua “Snitch” Bennett have seen the remaining three spots filled by a rotating cast over the past few months.

Thomas “Ménè” Cailleux and Jonathan “Wubby” Gunnarsson have joined the team, filling the roles left vacant by Simon “Schwimpi” Svensson and Lawrence “Atheroangel” Harper just a few weeks ago. Gunnarsson had been playing with the team in recent appearances before his signing was made official, while Cailleux had been practicing with the team after falling out of favour at Na`Vi.

The team made the decision to change the roster just a couple weeks after finishing second in the inaugural Heroes of the Storm World Championship.

Dignitas signed Simon “Schwimpi” Svensson and Jerome” JayPL” Trinh from Natus Vincere on Nov. 23, with Matic “Zarmony” Mitec going in the other direction. Dignitas also released Adrian “adrd” Wojcik. At the time, Baker described the new line-up as his “dream team.”

Just two months later, however, Svensson was on the move again joining Fnatic with Harper.

It’s fair to say that the changes won’t have helped Dignitas’ preparation and cohesiveness, but the team still managed to qualify for the Spring European Championship in Katowice. Mitec temporarily returned as a stand in for the qualifiers, but he has since departed again after the team opted to sign Cailleux.
