Epic Games has announced that vehicles are back in all of the Fortnite competitive modes. Players can jump into the Arena mode right now and find the Baller—whether you like it or not—and other vehicles available for competitive play.

The vehicles were initially removed from the competitive modes following some game-breaking bugs for players. For example, players who got into a vehicle like the Baller or golf cart would have no way to get out. They could drive around, but they would be sitting ducks within the vehicle itself. This caused obvious problems since it turned those players into targets for enemies to easily kill.

As such, Epic removed the vehicles from competitive modes to fix this problem. The vehicles remained in the other normal modes, however, while the devs tried to fix this problem. Thankfully, the release of the most recent 9.10 patch today brought with it a fix for this vehicle bug alongside the Downtown Drop LTM.

For those competing in the Fortnite World Cup qualifiers this weekend, this could be really good news or really bad news, depending on who you ask. Participants will be able to use vehicles to their advantage to quickly zip around the map and take out opponents in their way, but some players are still not the biggest fans of the vehicles.
