How to link your MyDisney account in Fortnite

In a few easy steps.

Fortnite gives you many chances to collect free skins and items from the shop. The latest example is the First Order Stormtrooper Skin, but you need to link your MyDisney account to obtain it.

Here’s a breakdown of how to link your MyDisney account to your Epic Games account in Fortnite.

To link your Epic Games account to your MyDisney account, go to the Epic Games website and link your MyDisney account there. If you don’t have a MyDisney account, you will need to create one. You may also need to stay logged in to the MyDisney account you just created during the process to speed things up.

Here are the next steps to take to link your MyDisney account:

  1. Open your browser and log in to your Epic Games Account at the Epic Games website. At the top right corner of the website, click the sign-in button.
  2. Once you’ve logged in, click on the avatar in the top right corner of the page and click on the Account button in the drop-down menu.
  3. On the left panel of the Account screen, click the Apps and Accounts button. On the next page, click the Accounts button. Doing this will then show you a list of all the types of brand and gaming accounts you can link to your Epic Games account.
  4. On the list, click on the Connect button under the MyDisney account. If you’ve already logged in to your MyDisney account, linking accounts will be quick. Otherwise, you may need to log in to complete the process.

Account linking, although available in many countries, is not available worldwide. If you are unable to link your accounts, you are likely from a country that is not supported. If you’re still having issues with linking or logging into either account, then you may be facing a cache issue. Logging in and doing the process in incognito mode will help avoid such issues.

While the First Order Stormtrooper skin is currently only available by account linking, it will still be available to purchase on the Fortnite Shop at a later date “beyond August 31, 2025.”
