How to get the Mythic Force Lightning in Fortnite

Fortnite’s highly anticipated Star Wars season, Galactic Battle, is here, adding multiple new locations, NPCs, and an age-old question of joining the light or embracing the dark forces to get the new lightsabers, which have fun new mechanics as well. The Force abilities attached to the lightsabers are different for your chosen side and come with their benefits. 

How to get and use Mythic Force Lightning in Fortnite

To get the Mythic Force Lightning ability in Fortnite, you need to go to the dark side and find the Darth Sidious NPC, which spawns randomly on the map. Once it spawns, you should spot the red icon with a lightsaber and two electric sparks next to it. It happens randomly in the match, and you can either get him or the blue icon, which should have a temporary NPC, allowing you to join the good side. 

To find these places, always keep an eye on your minimap, especially when the safe zone circles are forming, as these are the best times to find these NPCs based on our experience. Once you manage to find the Darth Sidious NPC, you can interact with his hologram, where he’ll ask you if you want to learn Force Lightning and Force Jump using a Lightsaber. Say yes to that question, and he’ll lead you to a portal next to him, and you should have the red lightsaber after completing the Sith training.

To use the Force Lightning, you need to first press your right click to evade by using the lightsaber, and then hold the left click while evading to release the lightning. It has a decent range, and it can melt enemies very quickly. It also leaves you vulnerable to enemy attacks while performing it, so the best time to use it is when the enemy is charging their heat (reloading) after unloading their magazine, and you can eliminate them easily using this.

If you do manage to find another good blue-colored icon NPC, you can also get a lightsaber from them and use the Force Push ability, which is also useful to push enemies off high points.
