How to get the Grogu back bling in Fortnite

The cutest backpack you'll ever see.

The partnership between Disney and Epic Games means a whole lot of awesome skins in Fortnite, including everyone’s favorite “Baby Yoda.”

Grogu from The Mandalorian series (and the upcoming movie The Mandalorian and Grogu) has arrived in Fortnite just days after it was announced at Disney’s D23 Expo. The cute little green guy can now attach to any character’s back for some battle royale fun.

It just doesn’t get any cuter than Grogu, as any child or Star Wars fan will tell you. And this just might automatically be one of the best back blings in the entire game from the minute he was added to Fortnite.

Here’s how to add Grogu to your squad and back bling collection in Fortnite.

Grogu can be purchased from the Fortnite Shop from Aug. 11 to 20, 2024. He’s available as a part of the IG-11 Bundle, or by himself for 600 V-Bucks in the Star Wars section of the shop.

You can use your saved-up V-Bucks to purchase him or have a friend gift it to you before he leaves the store on Aug. 20, 2024. But Grogu will likely return to the store periodically, like on May 4 when the shop is taken over by Star Wars characters and skins.

Grogu is definitely worth it as a back bling, whether you’re a fan of Star Wars, The Mandalorian, Fortnite skins, or just cute things in general. He waves his arms and gets excited as you skydive into the map, giggles when you open chests, eats his cookie from time to time, and more.

Make sure to grab Grogu from the store while you can because there’s no current date revealed for the next time he’ll be available.
