How to get and use the Wookie Bowcaster in Fortnite Chapter 6 season 3

Where to find the Wookie Bowcaster in Fortnite Galactic Battle

This season, the Wookie Bowcaster is primarily found in regular and rare blue chests, and occasionally as floor loot. You can also get a legendary version by helping Chewbacca fight off troopers at an outpost. It’s a rare find, so you may have to search a few chests before you get your hands on one.

You can find Chewbacca by visiting one of the Imperial outposts dotted around the island: usually the one near Predator Peak or Outlaw Oasis. He spawns randomly at either of these points and will be fighting troopers there. Help him take down the troopers and receive his services as a bodyguard, along with his legendary Wookie Bowcaster. The only other way to get a Wookie Bowcaster is to search chests and buildings, or take one from a fallen enemy player.

How to use the Wookie Bowcaster in Fortnite Galactic Battle

The Wookie Bowcaster has unlimited ammo, just like the blasters right now. It doesn’t have automatic firing, as you control the power of each shot yourself by holding down the trigger. You can hit the trigger to quickly fire off individual shots, or hold the trigger down until the bar fills and release for a more powerful shot.

The Wookie Bowcaster is best used as a mid-range weapon, but is also a decent choice for long-range fights. There doesn’t seem to be any drop-off for the Bowcaster bolts, so as long as you have accurate aim and good eyesight, a long-range shot should hit.

The Wookie Bowcaster stats vary depending on the rarity, but they should be around 50 damage without charge and 100 damage with charge. Check the correct stats by opening your inventory and clicking Inspect.
