How to enter the Secret Empire Cache in Fortnite Chapter 6 season 3

Fortnite’s Star Wars collaboration has also introduced some secret vaults in the game, but finding and going inside them is difficult if you don’t know how to go inside them. While you can break some of them by entering the secret vault, others require you to perform a specific task.

These secret vaults in Fortnite spawn every match, and they can be a reliable way of obtaining loot in the matches without landing at major points of interest. These places usually don’t attract many players due to their discreet location, but their fixed chest spawns make them a great place to explore if you know about them. 

How to enter the Secret Empire Cache in Fortnite Chapter 6 season 3, explained

To enter the Secret Empire Cache in Fortnite, you need to make your way to the snowy mountains located to the south of the Brutal Boxcars point of interest. After that, find the small settlement town that has the eAT eAT restaurant in the mountain alongside small food stalls. Make your way to the right side of the place, and find the cannon pointing toward a pile of rocks in the mountain. 

You can’t destroy the rocks using weapons or your pickaxe because you don’t deal any damage to them, but you can use the cannon to your advantage to open the cave. Go behind the canon and use your interact key (E for keyboard) to hotwire the cannon and shoot it at the rocks to open the secret vault for you. You can’t use the cannon again to take down enemies, so it’s just there for you to open the cave.

Inside the cave, you find three permanent chest spawns for getting weapons, some barrels to gain shields, and a Secret Empire Cache, which is unbreakable. As it can’t be damaged, you can visit the location later in the game to complete your quest and interact with the Cache. 

The location is literally in the center of the map, making it an ideal spot to land and loot because you’ll always have an easy way to get into the next safe zone. Players are also looking to fight other players here, so always be aware of aggressive players and visit the restaurant first to get some weapons before activating the cannon. There is another secret vault on the snowy mountains, but you don’t need a cannon for it to break the rubble for that one.
