The Hive Stashes are the latest addition to Fortnite Chapter Six, season four, and they allow players to get high-quality loot for taking down the swarms and the Bug Queen.
Fortnite offers many ways to earn loot, and the recent Bug Invasion season has introduced a new one through Hive Stashes. These locations contain a rare chest that you can destroy to drop valuable weapons and ammo, but doing so will also make the Queen furious.

How to find Hive Stashes in Fortnite Chapter 6 season 4
The Hive Stashes are located around the three points of interest where the Queen Bug spawns: the Hive, Ranger’s Ruin, and Demon’s Debris. They are inside the buildings or caves, bright orange or yellow, and you can spot them immediately from a distance. Once you land at any of these locations, make sure to arm yourself from the chests near you and try to go for the Hive Stashes to secure better loot to take on the enemies.
How to destroy Hive Stashes to taunt a Queen in Fortnite
To destroy Hive Stashes in Fortnite, you can simply walk up to them and open them like regular chests using your action button. They can also be broken with gunfire, as they only have 400 HP, allowing you to shoot them from a safe distance. Once they are opened, a swarm of bugs appears, so keeping your distance can be a safer option. You can then collect the weapons and ammo when the area is clear of the bugs.
By opening Hive Stashes, you also taunt the Queen, which helps you neutralize the area faster and get the Queen spawned to defeat her and take her precious loot to get that victory royale. Hive Stashes can yield a variety of weapons, ammo, and health or shield items to help you face the Queen, and they are also an excellent source of loot early in the game.
