This concept for weapon camos in Fortnite is pretty awesome

More tasks and challenges are only a good thing.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is an extremely customizable game. You can personalize a ton of aspects about your game, including your character’s outfit, pickaxe, glider, and even your loading screens for in between games.

One thing that Fortnite does not have, though, is weapon customization. That seems like a no-brainer, considering basically every other shooter game out there has some kind of skins for its weapons.

A Reddit user by the name of DRS733 agrees that Fortnite could use some weapon camos, and they drafted up this awesome concept.

In the concept, the game’s default assault rifle gets some love with five different camos and some challenges to go along with them. The challenges are inter-changeable really, but they give a good idea as to how they could be presented in-game. Challenges are given each week to rank up Battle Stars and upgrade outfits, but imagine if there were some more long-term challenges like these to get some rewards that last a lifetime.

Weapon camos would open up a whole new world of customization for Fortnite. Epic Games could offer camos for sale eventually, they could make them available in the Battle Pass, and they could have some be challenge-specific. The possibilities are basically limitless.

Why stop there? There could even be camos for things like pickaxes and gliders. Imagine being able to make any pickaxe golden or diamond just by getting a number of kills with them. Epic could have some fun with the ease or difficulty of the challenges too, depending on how awesome the camo was.

Epic has not shied away from adding things to Fortnite: Battle Royale, so let’s hope that camos are possible in the future. There’s no such thing as too much to do in a video game.
