Another glitch involving the Damage Trap item has been discovered in Fortnite: Battle Royale.

As seen in a video posted on Reddit, the bug causes these traps to deal damage to enemies standing behind where the item is placed. The video shows someone activating the trap as intended, but another player who’s behind the trap takes damage, even though the item isn’t angled to shoot its spikes out in that direction.

This isn’t the first time that a bug involving the Damage Trap has appeared in Fortnite, though. In June, players found a similar glitch that was damaging opponents who were on the floor above where the trap was placed.

Epic Games heard about the previous bug and quickly responded by telling fans on Reddit that the glitch would be fixed in the next major patch. This has Fortnite players hopeful that the developer will handle this newest bug in a similar fashion.

Epic hasn’t confirmed or commented on this new Damage Trap bug at this time. We’ll update this article as new information on the subject becomes available.
