This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

It’s time yet again for another set of challenges in Fortnite: Battle Royale. If you’ve been completing all of your challenges each week, you should be getting close to the end of your Battle Pass tiers. If not, you’ve got some work to do, and we’re here to help.

Deal damage with a pickaxe to opponents (250) – 5 Stars

This might seem like a difficult task, and it can be, but it’s not too bad if you spend a few games focusing on it. Each swipe with a pickaxe does 10 damage to an opponent, so you’ll need to hit enemies 25 times. The easiest way to do this is to land right directly on top of someone in the beginning of a game and start swinging.

Search Chests in Risky Reels (7) – 5 Stars

This week’s newest landing spot of insanity is Risky Reels, the drive-in movie theater on the northeast side of the map. There’s a decent amount of chest spawns here. But many players will undoubtedly be landing in the area to try to open them, so it won’t be easy.

Consume Hop Rocks, Apples, or Mushrooms (20) – 5 Stars

You’ll need to eat a combination of 20 rocks, apples, and mushrooms. This will come over time, or you can focus on it by heading to any area where they spawn and just stuffing your face. Hop Rocks are easiest to find and devour since you can do it with full health or shields.

Score a goal on different pitches (5) – 5 Stars

Did you know a “pitch” means “soccer field”? If not, this challenge probably confused you at first. There’s a number of fields and makeshift ones around the map.

The first three are pretty obvious. One is the giant stadium to the north of Pleasant Park that was recently added, another is in Pleasant Park itself, and a third is the indoor field to the west of Tilted Towers.

The others aren’t as easy to spot. One is in a parking lot of the container area north of Retail Row and two containers serve as the goals, one is northeast of Fatal Fields, one is beneath the projector at Risky Reels, and another is in the parking lot of Flush Factory with two toilets making up the goal.

Follow the treasure map found in Pleasant Park (1) – 10 Stars

Head to the hill slightly southeast of Tilted Towers for an easy 10 Battle Stars.

Assault Rifle Eliminations (5) – 10 Stars

A nice, easy challenge. Don’t fuss too hard on getting this one done, as it will come naturally with playing the game over time. Assault rifles are meta, so they should always be in your repertoire.

Eliminate opponents in Shifty Shafts (3) – 10 Stars

The best time to do a challenge like this is the week in which it’s made available, because other players will be heading there to get it done, too. After that, there’s no guarantee you’ll run into anyone in the area. So head to Shifty Shafts and be ready for a fight.
