Happy birthday, Fortnite—it’s been one year since the release of Save the World, and Epic Games is celebrating inside of Battle Royale with today’s 5.1 update.

The birthday celebration includes birthday cakes placed around the map with consumable slices next to them. Cake slices will give plus-five health and shield instantly when consumed. Both the Battle Bus and supply drops have been decorated to mark the occasion as well.

Update 5.1 also includes a number of other presents, like the return of Playground mode tomorrow, July 25, and the new Compact SMG weapon. Playground has seen improvements like an overall increase to loot spawns, but the mode is largely unchanged otherwise.

The Compact SMG is available in Epic and Legendary variants. The gun does either 23 or 24 damage, uses Light ammo, and has a 50 round capacity. It can be found in floor loot, chests, supply drops, and vending machines.

The update also contains a high number of quality of life changes, including a previously announced buff to Slurp Juice. The healing item will now heal for 75, prioritizing health first, and then giving shield once health is maxed out.

That’s not all, though. The drop rates for loot in supply drops have been adjusted. Hands cannons, dual pistols, the silenced pistol, damage traps, boogie bombs, grenades, bandages, stink bombs, Port-a-Forts, and the bush will no longer be available in supply drops. Drop rates for other items have been adjusted accordingly, as supply drops will now drop one weapon, two traps, two consumables, and two materials.

Other changes include health adjustments to building materials. Wood walls will now have a starting health of 80 (used to be 100) but a maximum health of 150 (from 200). Stone walls have received a minus-10 decrease in starting health, and metal wall max health has been buffed to 500 from 400.

You can check out the full-length patch notes on Epic’s website, featuring details on everything including additional wait time for the storm circle at the end of the game.
