Fortnite’s new update has gone live, and dataminers have already found a slew of new skins and cosmetics within the game’s files.
The new skins have been found and posted online by @TwoEpicBuddies on Twitter, consistent dataminers who post about new content coming to the game with each update. In total, there are nine skins shown in the image posted.
A number of the new skins found in the files seem to sport a patriotic theme, as Independence Day for the United States is coming up next week, on July 4. Two of the skins are basic men and women with red, white, and blue colors, while the third is a teddy bear rocking the same aesthetic.
Other skins include a pair of shady-looking detectives, female versions of the Carbide and Omega skins from the Battle Pass, and an awesome new orange armored hero. The Epic skins revealed are Fireworks Team Leader, Sleuth, Noir, and Gumshoe. Vertex and Criteron are Legendary skins, while StarSpangled Trooper and Ranger are Uncommon.
The skins don’t stop there, however, as TwoEpicBuddies has also posted the corresponding gliders, back blings, and pickaxes that go with the sets introduced by these skins. In total, there are five new gliders, seven new back blings, four new pickaxes, and five new emotes hitting the store soon.
Terminus and Viceroy Mark I are the new Epic gliders, Destabilizer and Stabilizer are Legendary, and Forerunner is Rare. The Epic back blings include Blasting Cap, Confidential Case, Evidence Bag, and Cluefinder, while Deflector is a Legendary item. Finally, Razor Edge, Crimson Axe, and Magnifying Axe are three new Rare pickaxes, while Victory Lap is Uncommon.
The five new emotes include True Heart (Epic), Eagle (Rare), Infinite Dab (Rare), Bring It (Uncommon), and Sparkler (Uncommon).
All of these skins are sure to be popular when they are added to the store over the coming weeks. Epic Games has consistently added skins to the store shortly after they have been found via datamines, so it’s fair to expect all of these to go live and purchasable for V-Bucks in the next week or two before the next update adds even more cosmetics to the game’s back-end.
