All new and unvaulted weapons in Fortnite: Galactic Battle

Instead of just a few days of fun for Star Wars Day on May 4, Fortnite Chapter Six, season three, brings a full season of sci-fi adventure. Now, you can find your favorite Star Wars characters as NPCs in new themed locations, and use Star Wars items, weapons, and vehicles for a full Fortnite season.

All new and returning weapons in Fortnite Chapter 6, season 3

If you want to join the fight against Emperor Palpatine’s troopers in Fortnite, you must be fully equipped with the right gear. Of course, there will be E-11 Blasters and the usual lightsabers, but more excitingly, there are long-range, close-range, and other explosive weapons at your disposal. This season has every Star Wars blaster you could possibly need, and more besides.

• DC-15 Heavy Blaster Rifle: super accurate medium to long range

• ACP Scatter Blaster: close range
• BARM-ST12 Scatter Blaster: close range

• Wookie Bowcaster: returns from May 15.
• CA-87 Jawa Scatter Blaster: arrives from May 15.

As you probably remember from previous Fortnite Star Wars Day events, the blasters have infinite ammo but tend to overheat if you hold the trigger down for too long. To combat this, make sure to take down Captain Phasma and get the Phasma Blaster Medallion, which reduces the weapon cooldown and extends its firepower before overheating.

Other than blasters, you will also find the Thermal Imploder, a piece of kit not dissimilar to Thermite from the previous season. Just arm it, toss it, and run before it rips through nearby structures. From May 22, you can get your hands on the Mandalorian Jetpack for that extra bit of mobility.

Finally, and possibly what everyone has been looking forward to this season, are the lightsabers. These fan-favorite weapons can boost your mobility as you run faster and jump higher, and are handy for deflecting blaster bolts. Sprinting across the map has become a lot easier with these shining weapons, as they also give you fall damage immunity when equipped.

Visit Rey for a blue lightsaber or Emperor Palpatine for a red lightsaber, or defeat Darth Vader Samurai for an alternative red lightsaber. The blue saber grants the Force Push ability, perfect for gaining control in a fight, while the standard red saber gives you Force Lightning, dealing electrifying damage to your opponent. Darth Vader Samurai’s red lightsaber teaches you the Force Saber Throw, the iconic Vader move you know and love.
