The 10-hour free trial of EA FC 25 with EA Play provides the perfect opportunity to try out the game and see whether it’s worth picking up or allowing you to jump in early without paying for the Ultimate Edition that grants the full game on early access. However, there have been issues.

If you encounter the error in EA FC 25 that says your trial time has expired, then fear not—steps can be taken to fix the issue.

How to fix EA FC 25 10-hour trial not working

The EA FC 25 ‘Trial time has expired’ error can be encountered at any time when attempting to play the free trial, even if you are loading into the game for the first time. Although it is incredibly frustrating, there is a workaround to follow using these steps:

  1. Load the EA FC 25 free 10-hour trial.
  2. Disconnect from the internet in your system settings.
  3. Return to EA FC 25 and wait until the game loads to the main screen.
  4. Reconnect to the internet in your system settings.
  5. If the process doesn’t work, repeat the steps and try again.

Although the above method is not a guaranteed fix, and it may take several attempts to get into the game, it should at least allow you to play. These steps need to be completed every time you load into the EA FC 25 10-hour trial, however.
