The League and Nation Hybrid SBC is one of several challenges you can build toward in the first days of EA FC 25. It is fairly demanding, and you’ll most certainly have to grind for it, but the pack rewards should be enough of an incentive to put in the work.
How to complete the League and Nation Hybrid SBC in EA FC 25
This Squad Building Challenge is the culmination of difficulty within the mini-SBC series that also includes the Hybrid Leagues and Hybrid Nations challenges. As the names suggest, these present a set of obstacles themed around leagues, nations, and in the case of the League and Nation Hybrid SBC, both.
The goal is to mix and match the players in your Ultimate Team to fit within a certain set of available leagues and nations at the same time. You must submit a total of four teams, each with higher requirements than the previous one. The sheer variety you must have in your Club to complete this SBC can be overwhelming in these very early days. The good news is that you can do it whenever, but if you want to make the most from its pack rewards, you’d want to tackle it early on. Here’s how to best approach this.
Cheapest solution for the League and Nation Hybrid SBC in EA FC 25
The cheapest solution for any SBC largely depends on what you already have in your Club. This is all the more crucial during the first few days and weeks of EA FC 25 when you don’t yet have an overabundance of cards. The League and Nation Hybrid SBC would be much easier to do in November, but we’ll have to work for it in September. Don’t worry too much, though. With a solid Club foundation and a good strategy on the market, you won’t have to spend too much to complete it.
How to complete The Challenger SBC in EA FC 25
The league and nation limits are the tightest here, with exactly three leagues and two nations being allowed. You also can’t have more than six players from either of those, all cards must be Gold, and Chemistry must be nearly maxed out at 32. If you were lucky enough with pack openings to have six players from the same league and nation, or say two pairs of four, then this is a no brainer. Add them to the solution and buy the cheapest players you can find on the market to complete The Challenger SBC.
If you have to start from scratch, the cheapest solution is to pick up South American players from Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana, the final player being a freebie. The South American region is more homogenous than others and it’s ideal for SBCs with limiting league, nation, and chemistry requirements. There is no OVR rating minimum for The Challenger SBC, so buy the absolute cheapest Gold cards you can find on the market. You can see an example squad below.
How to complete the Advanced SBC in EA FC 25
The Advanced SBC adds a relatively high squad rating requirement of 79 OVR, but raises the nations allowed to four. Chemistry must be 29 or higher, so you don’t have much headroom. The cheapest solution here is to build the weaker portion of the squad with players you already own and buy the final two or three pieces on the market.
The price difference between players rated 77-78 and those at 80-81 is small enough that a couple of the latter will cost you less than six or seven of the former. Furthermore, you’d want to keep some of the higher rated players in your Club for the remaining pair of challenges as they do have higher rating requirements.
How to complete the Fiendish SBC in EA FC 25
The squad’s rating rises to 80, but that’s a decent exchange for the much more flexible requirements of four leagues and five nations. Chemistry must be at least 25, while not using more than four players from the same league or more than three from the same nation.
This is where any saved up high overall players can help out. You’ll need at least three players rated 82-83 for the cheapest solution, so if you have some already, slot them in and start building around them. Doing so now is more beneficial because you don’t need these cards to have natural chemistry between themselves, only with the lesser cards around them.
Ideally, you’ll have a couple of 79-80 items to tack on as well, at which point you can go for cheap shopping for the remaining 75-77 OVR players. The price for those can be as low as 300 coins and you should never spend more than 600 on this caliber of card, so don’t fall for any quick buy traps.
How to complete the Puzzle Master SBC in EA FC 25
Despite its respectable tagline, the Puzzle Master is much easier to complete than the Fiendish SBC. That’s due to the vastly reduced chemistry, which is now 20, and the increase of the allowed leagues and nations to five and six, respectively. The one new restriction is for a maximum of two players from the same club. The 80 OVR squad rating remains, yet we have a different cheap solution for this one.
You can use any remaining league or nation stacks you have in your Club. You don’t even need them to be high OVR. An average of 77-78 will do because they’ll bring along solid chemistry that allows for one or two singular cards unrelated to the rest of the squad. Whether you pick those from your Club or buy them from the market, not being restricted by league or nation for the higher-rated cards will drop the price of this SBC by a few hundred coins.
SBCs can earn you valuable packs and players in EA FC 25, but you don’t need to get those to improve your Club. You can raise the squad quality from within via the new fan favorite Evolutions mechanic. You can currently take one of your defensive midfielders and run them through the Octopus Evolution in EA FC 25. The final product will be quite impressive.
