Due to the stat limits in place for The Octopus Evolution, it’s actually best to look at players beneath 80 OVR who will benefit most from all the upgrades. While these won’t hit the maximum OVR of 85, they will excel from the all-round boosts.

In the Premier League, Wolves’ Joao Gomes, Tottenham’s Pape Sarr, Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton, and Liverpool’s Ryan Gravenberch are all solid choices, particularly as, excluding Sarr, they are from popular nations, which makes them easier to build into hybrid sides.

Elsewhere, Oriane Jean-Francois, Yacine Adli, Khepren Thuram, and Samuele Ricci are also good choices for hybrid sides, while Nicolas Seiweld and Filippa Angedahl are worth considering if you have players from their league, club, or nation in your team already.
