Dennis Edman made his return to the team today after a three week hiatus away from CS:GO competition. Dennis will be taking his spot back on the lineup from AWPer William “draken” Sundin, following a much-needed break to alleviate symptoms of fatigue from excessive traveling.

“A month of calm and relaxation, which was more than needed, is now over,” Dennis said in the team’s announcement. “I’m so hyped about coming back and it was very hard to watch all the games from home, all I wanted to do was to get back on the server and pop some heads!

However, I believe this will help me and my team to become even better than before I took this break. More majors, better placements and a lot of sick games incoming.”

NiP also released draken from a year-long contract with the organization, according to HLTV journalist Zvonimir Burazin. In a recent Twitch stream, Draken was upset about his situation with NiP because he left European mix team Gamer Legion for the opportunity. It seems that him signing the contract with NiP was under the premise that he’d supposedly play at least six or more tournaments.

NiP’s starting lineup is back to full firepower now with Dennis, Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund, Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg, Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson, and Fredrik “REZ” Sterner as the starting five. They’ll begin their trek through season nine of ESL Pro League next week. Their first opponents will be FaZe Clan, Heroic, and devils.one.
