Jordan “JKap” Kaplan and Johnathan “John” Perez are officially joining Luminosity Gaming to compete alongside Josiah “Slacked” Berry and Sam “Octane” Larew in 2018, the organization announced earlier today.

JKap and John most recently competed on Team Envy—JKap had been with the Boys in Blue since June 2015, while John joined in June 2016. The two had several top placings together, but most notably won the 2016 Call of Duty World League Championship last September. After placing second at CoD Champs 2017, JKap and John were released from Team Envy on Aug. 26.

These world champions will replace Nicholas “Classic” DiCostanzo and Renato “Saints” Forza on Luminosity. Saints announced that he joined Echo Fox earlier today, and it’s heavily rumored that Classic will play for Team Envy in 2018—although this has not yet been confirmed.

Luminosity had an extremely strong roster in Infinite Warfare, and the organization won its first Call of Duty title at the CWL Anaheim Open in June.

This new Luminosity roster definitely has a lot of firepower, and fans are anxious to see how they will perform when the Call of Duty: WWII season starts on Nov. 3.
