Xfinity is back with Call of Duty as the official ISP of the franchise and its new entry, Black Ops 6. And you can get into the beta if you have an account with the company.
“We’re thrilled to have Comcast Xfinity on board this year as Official Internet Service Provider of Call of Duty,” said William Gahagan, director of global partnerships at Activision. “Our partnership will allow more players to experience the exciting Black Ops 6 Beta this year and get a taste of what’s to come for the new era of Call of Duty.“
If you or your family member is an account holder with Comcast’s Xfinity for internet, television, phone, or more, you can get early access to the Black Ops 6 beta that begins on Aug. 30. Otherwise, you will need to preorder the game or wait until the open beta begins on Sept. 6.
Here’s what you need to do to get your Xfinity Rewards Black Ops 6 beta code.
Xfinity Rewards Black Ops 6 beta code
Black Ops 6 beta early access is available as part of the optional Xfinity Rewards program. It’s free to join if you have a Comcast Xfinity account, and the process is simple to get your beta code. Here’s what you need to do:
- Log into your Xfinity account.
- Sign up for the Xfinity Rewards program (it’s free as part of your Comcast membership).
- Access your account on the Xfinity app or Xfinity Rewards website.
- You will find the beta redemption instructions within the app or website, where you can click or tap the “Get this reward” button.
- You can also redeem a code on CoD’s redeem code page.
If you’re lucky enough, you may be able to find a friend or someone willing to part with their Xfinity Rewards beta code to give to you to redeem. Some may also be selling theirs online, but beware scammers who are just trying to get some quick and easy money. You can always preorder the game for a code and then cancel the preorder if BO6 is not your thing, too.
The worst case scenario is that you may have to wait six days to play the beta when it becomes available to everyone on Sept. 6. That means a lonely weekend of watching streams instead of grinding BO6, but there are worse problems to have—like being scammed out of money by someone pretending to sell a code on eBay.
