A lot has changed for Evil Geniuses’ Call of Duty division over the past month.

After winning the 2018 Call of Duty World Championship in August, EG’s lineup joined Team Envy in September. But now, Evil Geniuses has signed a new team for the upcoming season.

Tyler “FeLo” Johnson, Renato “Saints” Forza, Andres Lacefield, Jevon “Goonjar” Gooljar-Lim, and Mathew “Royalty” Faithfull will represent EG in Black Ops 4, the organization announced today.

“After the departure of our previous roster to nV, remaining in the Call of Duty scene was a major priority for us,” said EG’s Call of Duty manager Ryan Towey. “I’ve known Saints for years and being able to help bring together a roster with him that we feel can contend with every other team in the CWL was our goal. I’m incredibly excited for Black Ops 4 as well as the direction that Call of Duty is heading this year and can’t wait to see our team perform.”

The reigning world champs—Patrick “ACHES” Price, Bryan “Apathy” Zhelyazkov, Adam “Assault” Garcia, and Justin “SiLLY” Fargo-Palmer— joined Envy to compete alongside Cuyler “Huke” Garland on Sept. 22. This left EG without a Call of Duty roster, until today.

This new team definitely has the slaying power to compete at the top level in 2019, but they’ll face the difficult task of joining an organization that just won the most prestigious tournament in Call of Duty esports. Lacefield and crew will make their Evil Geniuses debut on Dec. 7 at the first major LAN event for Black Ops 4: CWL Las Vegas.
