Normally, players must own the Black Ops Pass to have access to these multiplayer maps. The Black Ops Pass is Activision and Treyarch’s new system for delivering post-launch content in Black Ops 4. It’s supposed to introduce DLC more regularly throughout the game’s life cycle.

But now, players on all platforms will get the chance to test these maps for a limited time, regardless of whether they purchased the Black Ops Pass.

In addition to the free access weekend, Treyarch will also host a double XP period from March 15 to 18. Double XP will be available in Multiplayer and Zombies, as well as double Merits in Blackout and double tier progression for the Black Market.

Get ready for a few days full of Call of Duty action—the free access and double XP weekend begins on March 15 at 12pm CT.
